Announcement: A one week course will be provided in the Practical Design and Production of Optical Thin Films: including all of the material in the books provided with the course (Practical Design of Optical Thin Films, and Practical Production of Optical Thin Films), and thin film design software. The course is intended to be valuable to seasoned thin film scientists and engineers as well as new coating engineers and technicians. The tutorial material will also be interspersed with practical design and evaluation exercises of the various subjects using FilmStar computer aided design software on individual computers. For those not currently using FilmStar, this will provide an opportunity to become comfortable with its use and some of its unique capabilities.        Please see the syllabus for more details.      Registration Form
